Moon Walk: Teen Pagan Camp - La Mesa, CA
All Paths Welcome. If you are a teen, please join us at Briercrest Park in La Mesa from 1pm to 5pm on Saturday, October 10th for a jam-packed metaphysical teen workshop! The 8th installment of the famous "B Pat Rager" will be a high intensity weekend long camping event full of live music, mayhem, and a hangover that will last well into your work week. Expect the unexpected, our largest event did over 1.2k people. You have the freedom to bring what you want to your camping area (Sterio, bbq grill, pong table) As far as smashing on some food goes - our friend Craig Jackson will be bringing back his tasty BBQ cart There will be a NEW security team on the premises. ANY unwanted physical contact will NOT be tolerated at all. Pure Ball Striking - One Day Summer Series - Weisfeld Family Golf Center
Campers will have an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of good ball striking and tee shots from lead instructor, Coach Pumford. Campers will utilize Trackman Golf Radar Systems along with V1 camera systems. Each camper will get an assessment of their game and a personalized improvement plan. 4th - 9th grades- Tennis Camp for Intermediate Players - Saint Marys School
This camp is a week long session where players are expected to have previous tennis experience. The players will be grouped by skill level and will be given the opportunity to improve their skills in a fun and encouraging atmosphere. The daily schedule will consist of match play, drills, competitive games, individual time with the coaches, footwork training, strategic thinking, and pool time. Players will work on the following: groundstrokes, volleys, overheads, serves, singles and doubles play. Each day Players will learn new techniques and different ways to approach their opponent in a match. Players will be faced with constant challenges in a way that will only increase their passion for tennis. This camp will help further develop the players skills, giving them the confidence to continue playing tennis. Hannah Jones, a member of the Saint Marys School class of 2016, will be leading this summers Tennis Academy. She has been playing tennis since she was a young girl and has a passion for this sport. Hannah has been on the SMS Varsity tennis team for three years and is also involved with many extracurricular activities in and outside of school. Super Sleuths: Mysteries of Forensic Science - Session 2 - Donnelly Building
Super Sleuths: Mysteries of Forensic Science Students will be introduced to investigative science while performing a variety of modified forensic techniques. Campers will investigate evidence from simulated crime scenes to develop their observation skills and use deductive reasoning in order to draw evidence-based conclusions.
