The perfect break from those long hot August days, come join us for Splash Down Camp! Nearly all activities have a water based theme, spend your afternoons cooling off in the pool or take the opportunity to cruise around the lake or just simply sit off the dock with a fishing pole enjoying the friendship of fellow campers, while swapping fish stories. Our evening activities will also be water based such as the water balloon games. Michigan Cru's Fall Getaway 2016 - Angola, IN
As we experience true love–a love that is there in the hard times as well as the good, a love that is there when we’re doing well or when we are failing, a love that will walk with us through healing as well as celebrate our victories–that is when we find true freedom. This kind of love is only found in a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. This will be a weekend of finding this kind of love as our speaker, Kevin Butcher, guides us through this topic. Join us for a weekend of fun community and spiritual growth as we head to Angola, Indiana for this year's Fall Getaway! Check is from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 14th. Come out and learn Cheerleading under the direction of an multi award winning coach and NCS Varsity squad. Coach Amanda Beery has led her team to FCC National Championships, coached girls to win Individual and Team performance awards. During this week of camp campers will learn skills that emphasize proper form and as well as safety. Stunting: Starting with low-level skills such as thigh stands and progressing to semi-advanced stunts. Tumbling: Cartwheels, handstands and round offs. Those with a solid tumbling background will work on back handspring technique. Motions: Learn all motions and the names for each arm placement with a focus on sharp and properly executed technique. Cheers: Cheers will be taught to the participants, implementing the skills learned at camp Dance: A dance will be taught utilizing the needed to excel in cheer dance.
