The Players Camp is a five-day, overnight program designed to give the higher-level junior player an opportunity to develop their game in preparation for high-school/collegiate/tournament golf. Learning sessions will include technical instruction in all parts of the game, course management and mapping, mental training, fitness education, nutrition habits, significant on-course playing time and college recruitment information. Each camper will receive one-on-one instruction with the Stanford Coaching Staff and other DI Coaches and Current Collegiate Players; space is limited for this camp. This camp is open to any and all entrants (limited only by age, number, grade level and/or gender). 800-357-7687

Teen Leadership Summit - Seattle, WA
Join Camp Fire for a daylong conference just for teens to build leadership skills that will prepare you for the school year ahead. Workshop sessions may include topics such as communication, goal setting, mindset management, teamwork, leadership style and the impact of service learning. This event is a great way to learn about Camp Fire programs like Teens in Action or the Spring Break Road Trips and kick-off the year ahead! Camp Fire will also present information about how to begin earning your Wohelo Award, the highest achievement in Camp Fire. Find your youth voice and learn to put it into action! Prior experience in Camp Fire, Camp Sealth, or program membership is not required. Lunch and all workshop materials will be provided by Camp Fire and is included in your registration fee. July 18-21, Pioneer Camp, 9:30am-noon, $60 Have you ever wondered how the Pioneers lived long ago? This camp will allow you to experience many of the daily experiences of that time period bringing history to life. Print on a printing press, weave on a loom, learn how a blacksmith creates metal objects, dip candles and play with old-fashioned toys. Explore the items in “Grandmother’s Trunk” and learn how they were used, and cook on the hearth in Har-Ber Village’s Living History Cabin.

Are your campers ready for this adventure? With their team they will explore the Refuge and find themselves challenged to survive a week in the Pines. Since humans began communicating, there has always been an urge to keep certain information underground: intended for certain eyes only and unreadable to all others. In this course, youll study, crack (decipher) and create (encipher) messages in a variety of cipher systems and historical contexts. Although youll time-hop throughout history and make stops with Julius Caesar, Ben Franklin and Abe Lincoln, among many others, youll end with an exploration of how cryptography--the study of codes and ciphers--has kept up with, and even created, the modern digital age. Get away from it all and spend some time together out at camp making memories that will last a lifetime. Go boating, swimming, make some great crafts and explore camp together. There will even be time for smores and singing around the campfire before your time together at camp is done. This camp session is designed as a mom and girl program. The theme is up to the student! Students will be offered several ideas such as superheroes, aliens, magic, animals, and more. Then the children decide what they wish to create for the week. Students will use iPads to take animation photos of LEGO® pieces and edit video and sound.
