SummerART Camp Full Day Studio Art Program 9:30am to 5pm Studio Art with Creative Crafts Session II: July 11 to July 22 Studio Art Camp Matisse and Friends: Colors of the Modern Masters Purple skies, pink trees, red rooms, and green people! Its all about color and imagination this session, which will explore artwork by famous Modern and Post Modern masters like Henri Matisse, Paul Gauguin and Pablo Picasso. These artists experimented with depicting the world using fantastic colors, and a bold and expressive style of brushwork. We will experience color in a whole new way while working in fine art materials, found objects, collage, printmaking, and more! Campers will be inspired to create their own wild and wonderful masterpieces. School’s almost out, its time for the part of summer we always look forward to. Summer Camp has everything a stressed kid wants. New friends, new experiences, nature n shit. Break out those lanyards again, let’s see the tie dyed shirts and the bucket hats. It’s not everyday that the counselors invite the campers to drink with them, but this Saturday we invite you into our cabin to dance till the bonfire burns out, and start the summer correctly. More than 60 overnight camp, day camp and summer program exhibitors will be on hand to answer your questions. Plan your child's summer of fun all in one day. To top it off, there will also be lots of fun entertainment from face painters, our prize wheel, mock covers, and much more. We hope that our campers will get an inside look at our womens basketball program here at Nebraska University. Our campers can expect to learn both basic funadmentals and advanced skills. Our campers will also benefit from working with a division one staff in addition to our womens basketball players. An adventure trip of a lifetime. Our Northwoods Adventure Camp at Camp Bluewater is the ultimate outdoor camping experience. Campers will find the each bend of Bluewater Lake beautiful and inviting as they canoe and portage a chain of lakes within the Chippewa National Forest. Campers will gain confidence in their Outdoor Living Skills and deepen their relationship with nature. Friendships made on this trip are forever, and the memories youll make are to be treasured. Start the week at Tanadoona! Together campers will prepare meals and map out their journey with two certified Northwoods Specialists. Next, well hit the road and journey to Camp Bluewater just past Grand Rapids, MN. Adventurers spend the night at Camp Bluewaters lodge then embark in the morning on a 4-day canoe and camping trip through a chain of lakes. 612-235-7284
