The Honcho Summer Campout - Proctor, WV
An idea that has been burning in our brains for a few years will finally spill into the steep, hilly forests of West Virginia this August. Save the date, we'll be taking over the insane Roseland Resort for a weekend bonanza of pool parties, camp fires, club ragers and weirdo sunrise woodland excursions together. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR NOW: - Roseland has a 20 year tradition of being a clothing optional, men-only resort. We must respect the rules of the space and adhere to this for the 2015 edition. We will work towards a larger idea in the future. - We have held ALL of the cabins and best tent camp sites on the resort property in a discounted Honcho block. You will get 10% off all lodging. DO NOT BOOK by yourself without a Honcho Campout ticket because that would be silly and you'll end up somewhere stupid, paying more. - In order to get access to these sites and rates, you will purchase a Honcho Campout ticket for $15. Yoga knows no age boundaries. It has benefits for the older and younger alike. Just B Yoga provides a quality yoga program for children that benefits the body and the mind. The camp is taught by Belinda Thurston and Monica Pino. Our classes teach children body awareness and positive self image while finding healthy movement exercises. Boys Quarterback & Receivers - Sanford Day Camp
Bill DiNardo will be the head coach for our Football program. Bill is the head varsity football coach at Salesianum School and will run our quarter-backs and receivers Camp. Bill has won multiple state championships for both Middletown and Salesianum schools. Coach Bill is also the Dean of Students at Salesianum. ---------- LOCATION: Sanford School. Please drop your child off at the Sports Center at 8:45 a.m. Pick up will be in the same location at 3:15. ---------- WHAT TO BRING: Light-weight, loose fitting shirts, shorts, socks and sneakers. Water Bottle Bathing suit and towel for free swim in the afternoon. Lunch, unless purchasing from Camp. ($35.00/per week) A drink will be provided for all by the Camp. Seedlings is a 1-week summer camp for 3 and 4 year olds at the Hampshire College Farm Center. A small group of 8 children and an experienced teacher and assistant will gather each weekday for a hands-on exploration of farm and garden life. With the cozy farmhouse sun room as home base, the Seedlings will venture out to the barnyard, the childrens garden, and the larger farm fields and woods for a balance of work and play that meets individual needs.
