Students new to watersports may not be very sure of what type of activity they would like to try. So, we have created a class in which students spend each day experiencing a different water activity - Sailing, Fishing, Exploring Marine Life, Kayaking, and a Power Boating Safety introduction are all part of the week! Please help us with our 1st Jamison Hook Allstate Coats-4-Kids drive. We are excited to participate in this event with KXLY who have been keeping area kids warm for the last 30 years! PGA Junior Golf Academy (Wednesdays from 9 until 11:00 AM) - The Golf Courses of Kenton County
The Junior Golf Academy is designed to provide advanced instruction for junior golfers who have a basic understanding of the game of golf. Students will get hands on coaching from a PGA Professional in every facet of the game. This is a great opportunity for juniors to develop the skills needed for high school or competitive golf. Participants will receive driving range discounts and reduced green fees during the course of the program.

March 25: Spring Break Science - Summit Schools
Join Summit Schools staff and our community partners for a day on of fun, interactive activities at Learning Extensions Camp, also known as In-Service Day Camp. -Theme: Spring Break Science. Well explore, create, experiment, discover, and engineer all in the name of science! -Experiment with soil science and composting methods as the C.R. Solid Waste Agency teaches us about landfill engineering. -With the Cedar Rapids Water Department, well test water quality, PH levels, and more as we learn about the science of water. -Summits own art teacher, Miss Carol, will have us discovering the science of art through messy and fun art experiments. -Alpaca Fiber Arts will teach us all about alpacas and llamas as we create felted take-home soap and/or coasters.
