Get a taste of summer at our Spring Break Camp! Our camp counselors are dedicated to providing a safe and fun environment for children to interact, meet new friends and participate in exciting camp activities. Campers will spend their day at the park, playing dodgeball, creating art masterpieces and going down the waterslide at our pool. Join us for an exciting week of camp games, sports, swimming and more! Please bring a sack lunch, snacks, water, swim suit, towel and sunblock to camp daily. Come join the fun! Only need a day or two of camp? We take drop-ins! Drop-ins are dependent on space availability and are $45 per day. There are no sibling discounts for drop-ins. Please register for drop-in days through the Community Center office. Drop-ins for Before Care is $8 per day and After Care is $15 per day. The time is almost here. I can barely sit still. Next Level 48 youth and Highschool football camps. 5th - 8th grade youth camp is June 18th and all Highschool camp June 25th. The cost is only $50. Camps will be held on the field across from Hyde Park Highschool from 9am-1pm. Kids will not only train and condition but receive signed autographs from Ex & current NFL players. Bring your sons, nephews, brothers and cousins out to this camp. Come support my vision to not only teach our young men about football but using football as a vehicle to divert their attention from violence and back to education, sports, and discipline! SPRING 2016: SURVIVOR FROG! Have you ever wondered how to make fire without matches, purify water, and build your own shelter? Or what you would do if you were stranded on a desert island? If so, then join Survivor Frog! We will learn to recognize and prepare edible plants, track and stalk wild animals, and make rope and baskets out of plants that grow in your neighborhood park. Our amazing Animal Ambassadors will be our guides as we gain survival skills, learn to work as a team, and explore the natural world all around us! There are no breaks during this session. An introduction to the game of golf with emphasis placed on fundamentals of grip, posture, and alignment. Introduction to the rules and etiquette of the game will be explained. Students will learn the difference between iron shots and tee shots, in addition to chipping and putting. Fun competitions will be held with in the class in each aspect of the the game.
