My 10 year old daughter loves participating in Girl Scouts. When she asked about going to this camp I got her signed up right away. She had fun meeting other campers and she came back home with a vision of who she wants to be in her future. The Investment x The Blessings in a Bookbag - Rochester, NY
Eazywork Bartendaz in collaboration with City of Rochester Department of Recreation and Youth Services and Blessings in a Bookbag Community project present THE INVESTMENT: Health, Wellness and Fitness boost. This FREE community event and backpack giveaway promotes health nutrition & wellness gearing kids up for back to school by stimulating their minds and bodies to grow and effect our community in a positive way and teaching them how to make the right decisions with their body so they can make great decisions in the classroom. Youth will receive a free haircuts, lunch and a book bag with supplies donated by local businesses and the Dept. of Recreation (while supplies last). Activities include: Get fit wit Jay: Field games and Fitness; bounce house, dunk tank, flag football, mini basketball tournament, sack races, calisthenics demos for kids and adults and much more. Foodlink's Curbside Market will be on hand with nutrition demos from Eat Smart NY. Visit the Rochester Fire Department's Fire Safety House and meet REX the Rhino. Community role models such as Mayor Lovely Warren, doctors from the Black Physician's Network of Greater Rochester, teachers and athletes will be invited to meet the kids and give encouraging messages as they head...
CampOUT's summer BOOTCAMP (all branches and uniforms are welcomes) - I
Pricing this year will be the same as last year, $15 per person per night for tenters ( 1 wrist band ) $33 per night for rvs 20/50 amp (2 wrist bands included) $59 queen cabin per night (3 wrist bands) $79 king cabin per night (4 wrist bands). As of now the Dry Creek Store is closed, so please bring extra food and supply's that you might need during your stay! We will keep you informed about any changes as we learn them.

Parents get a break. Kids have fun! Kids will have the opportunity for free play. crafting, and a movie! Designed for children age two through eleven. When: Friday, December 16 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm Where: Good Shepherd Church - 5930 State Road, Parma, Ohio 44134 Cost: Free camp. Registration Required through https://goo.gl/forms/NvA4LJbK9wsRyEdF3. Parents are welcome to stay and volunteer or drop off children for the camp. Volunteers will be background checked at the expense of Good Shepherd Church. Requirement: Completed Registration form per child. Registration Deadline: Upon maximum capacity of 30 children or December 12, 2016; whichever comes first. Only five children of the age two are able to be in the camp.

July 6-10 One Session ONLY. Monday – Friday, 1 to 4PM Class limit 20, minimum 8 Students need to bring paper and pens Minimum age: 13 $200 members, $225 non members Will we sing campfire songs? No. Will we write similes about the smell of a campfire, or lengthy descriptions of that one camp counselor who wears knee socks and a fanny pack? Perhaps. Join Kirsten Casey for five days of writing delight: creating poetry, characters, flash fiction pieces, and more. We will write everyday from 1-4 using a variety of prompts, strengthening our attention to detail, sharing our work, and eating candy. Kirsten Casey400Kirsten Casey is a local California Poet in the Schools, who has been teaching creative writing to students in the area for over ten years. She earned her Masters in Creative Writing from San Francisco State, and you can find her work in the anthology Yuba Flows, and her own book of poetry, Ex Vivo: Out of the Living Body. As a teen, Kirsten kept a daily journal, wrote poetry and a play, and enjoyed quoting song lyrics. She loves working with teens because she feels like a teen trapped inside...

Understanding Maps - The Evergreen School
In this class, students will explore a variety of different kinds of maps. By playing geography games and participating in fun activities, students will create a variety of maps, including cartograms, choropleths, dot maps, proportional symbol maps, maps with isolines, and flow maps. This class will also include a component on learning how to read a map to navigate. 206-957-1533
Bay Bounders (Week 1 AM) - Fins, Wings, Paws, & Claws - NESS
Animals have amazing adaptations to help them survive and thrive. Investigate these features through examining the shapes and power of fish, shark, and dolphin fins, the flying abilities of birds, the diverse abilities of animal legs and paws, and the power of claws. Take part in an animal adaptation auction, dissect a crab, and use microscopes to make new adaptation discoveries. Includes: microscopes, 1 boat trip, & snorkeling 860-535-9362

Come join Molly Bocian to the messy world of 3D art! The students will be exploring paper mache and clay techniques over the course of the week. Ceramics techniques will be taught each day, and large paper mache sculptures will be crafted throughout the week, painted and ready to take home on the last day of camp. This will be a messy week, and while everything will be washable, aprons or old shirts would be welcome. So get your kids excited for the joy of sculpture this summer! 206-524-7009

Tanikas are entering grades 10-12, and live in cabin units in main camp. Tanika campers plan their camping activities with the facilitation of their counselor. Tanika activities build on the skills and interests that the campers have previously developed. These may include waterfront activities, archery, climbing wall, arts and crafts, outdoor cooking, and advanced team building exercises.
