Up to three fun filled days (Monday, 12/28; Tuesday, 12/29 and Wednesday, 12/30 - you pick which day(s) you want to be here) with horses for those 13 to 17 years of age. No previous riding experience necessary. All riders, no matter their experience level will have fun playing in our indoor arena with our holiday trail course. The course can be ridden a number of different ways enabling the camper to build on their riding skills no matter where they are starting from. Campers will also be helping with some part of the day-to-day care of the horses and ponies that live here at Meadowsweet Ranch and each day will include some educational time in our heated club room. Breaks and lunch will be enjoyed in our heated club room also.

This course is designed for those students who desire to further develop their English speaking ,reading, and writing skills. For students at all levels-beginning/ intermediate/ advanced, we will concentrate on reading & comprehending literature, practicing phonics principles, and perfecting writing skills. Each day will be spent reading book in small and large groups, writing summaries, fiction and non-fiction stories, and book reports. We will greatly expand our vocabulary, play word games, and focus on grammar, pronunciation, and fluency in a challenging yet relaxed and fun environment. These 1 or 2 week sessions provide first time sailors aged 7-10 with the basics of sailing in a fun, safe and encouraging environment. Sailors will be using Prams, which are ideal for 2-3 sailors in 1 boat. Students will be taught the points of sail, basics of sailing upwind, downwind and between 2 points, along with sail trim, knot tying and general seamanship.
