This morning program features two-week sessions of old-fashioned summer camp fun. Activities include arts and crafts, sports, games, water play, splash club at a local pool and one beach visit each session. Campers participate in camp-wide meetings and Fun Friday Barbecue lunches. LUNCH: Parker Summers campers must bring their own peanut-free bag lunches and drinks Monday–Thursday. Refrigerated facilities are not provided. Amazing Summer Adventure
We felt it was very important for our kids to spend at least a portion of the summer surrounded by nature. They got plenty of that at Moss Hollow! This was a summer of first for our children including first time in a canoe, first time sleeping overnight outside the home, first time camping, first time fishing. Lexington Family Magazine Summer Camps & Activities Fair - Lexington,
Visit booths representing camps, afterschool activities, birthday party venues, health care professionals, schools and more at our 14th Annual Fair. The Fair will be held at Lexington Christian Academy at 450 W. Reynolds Rd. just across the street from Meijer and behind Fayette Mall. We fill both of the gyms at the school. Each booth will have a fun activity for kids while Mom and Dad chat with the professionals. You'll find giant inflatables, face painting, costumed characters, games and giveaways. While you are there you can enter your kids in our Cover Model Contest. Professional photographer Lucy Chesnut, of Glitter and Sawdust Studios, will take photos of all their smiling faces and we'll use those pictures to choose winners who will appear on the covers of Lexington Family Magazine in the next year. We'll also have performances all day long from some of the most talented kids in the bluegrass including dancers, martial artists, gymnasts and more. Best of all? IT'S FREE! Clay Camp - Teen Wheel Throwing - Pomona, CA
This camp will be an introduction to the potter's wheel! During this camp teens will have the opportunity to work in a professional ceramic studio using the same equipment that the pros use. The camp will begin with centering the clay and creating basic forms, such as bowls, cups and vases. We will spend time learning how to trim and finish the pots. The last day of class everyone will glaze their work with their favorite colorful patterns. June 20th - June 24th 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

SC2016: Jiggly Wiggly Comb Jelly Week - Sanibel Flagship Campus
We always get asked if small clear comb jellies sting. The answer is no - instead of using stinging cells they use sticky cells and you cant get stuck unless you are a tiny planktonic animal. Lets explore these super-cool, glow in the dark, barely there jellies of the ocean. Lets have a floating race using only our fingers fluttering like cilia. Lets get sticky and capture our own food. Lets collect plankton (the comb jellys favorite food) with a plankton tow and look at it under a microscope. Lets go on a night beach walk and look for bioluminescence. (239) 472-8585

Lights...Camera...Action! Students dream of having their favorite LEGO® characters come to life become a reality in our movie making class. Using stop-motion animation and digital post- production editing, students produce LEGO® Brickfilms much like the ones viewed on YouTube. Students learn about developing creative storytelling techniques, incorporating visual and audio special effects. This is a great class to take with friends. Must register for a minimum of 2 weeks. Chincapin Camp – For girls who are new to horseback riding or would like to focus more on other activities, this track allows them a wholesome balance of camp experiences. Chincapin campers ride 3-4 hours per week and spend the rest of their time at archery, canoeing, fishing, arts and crafts and more. Chincapin Camp with Horseback Riding Focus – For girls who live and breathe horses, this track allows them the maximum amount of time possible in the barn. Horseback Riding campers spend 5 hours per week riding, and also learn about horse care, tacking, etc. When not in the barn, Horseback Riding Focus campers choose from all the other activities that Chincapin offers. 440-256-0716
