This 4 week teen intensive is one not to be missed! July 9 - August 5 - fb's events can not be longer than 2 weeks so the correct dates are July 9 - August 5! Our teens love this camp! This camp is a trip and travel camp based out of Southern Oregon. Rappelling, White Water Rafting, Leadership, Firearms Safety Training, Trap Shooting, Basic Hunter Ed, Bow Hunting, Nature Photography, Backpacking, Friction Fire, Fishing, Fly-tying, Hiking, Backcountry Cooking, Horsemanship, Archery, Advanced Scout Training including Wilderness Skills and so much more. The teens will experience all of the same activities our 3 week teen intensive camp has to offer BUT there is a mule and horse packing component preparing the teens to head off on a pack trip putting their learned skills to use with horses and mules the 4th week packing in the Eastern Cascades. Price includes $100 lab fee. Campers will work with the biomorphic robot Robosapien. Robosapien™ is a sophisticated fusion of technology and personality. Loaded with attitude and intelligence, Robosapien is the first robot based on the science of applied biomorphic robotics. With a full range of dynamic motion, interactive sensors and a unique personality, Robosapien is more than a mechanical companion — hes a multi-functional, thinking, feeling robot with attitude! Campers will learn programming and hacking basics and even turn their Robosapien into a Ninja Bot! Each camper will take home his or her own exciting Robosapien Humanoid Robot. Campers will also build from scratch our Vibrobot soldering project and construct a bot using a toothbrush. We highly recommend taking Camp Robot Mechanic prior to this camp.
