This Is one of our Intergenerational camps with wonderful opportunities to explore together! Younger campers feel safer with their familiar adults around. Older campers get to relive the joys of discovery and pass along their faith traditions. This camp lets us spend some quality time with the grand-kids and make memories that will last a lifetime. Make connections through a variety of activities such as swimming, games, campfires, and Bible studies. Enjoy a two night stay in the lodge and an opportunity to share your stories. This Boy Scout Ranch Camp was established in 1983. My 14 year old son would not miss signing up for this summer camp. Nestled in over 200 miles of rugged country it is the perfect place to camp and explore nature. Our son liked the diverse topography of the land. Teen Theatre Camp 2016 - Independence, MO
Baby Crow Teen Theatre Camp is a 5 day advanced theatre camp taught by members of NYC theatre company, Baby Crow Productions. The camp runs from July 5th-July 9th from 10am-5pm at 113 W. Lexington on the Independence Square. Tuition is $150 for the whole week. Campers will work with professional teaching artists to develop skills. This summer we offer specialty classes in areas such as, vocal performance, acting, musical theatre, dance, audition technique, and much more! Each class is taught by NYC working professionals and teaching artists from Baby Crow Productions. In addition to a traditional approach to training, our camp will provide campers with the experience of creating their own original work. At the end of the week, campers will have the ability to showcase what they have worked on at a performance for their invited guests. Spring Offerings- Environmental Engineering - International Charter School
Students will experience an immersion into the multidisciplinary process of engineering by studying the areas of electrical, structural, mechanical, and construction by participating in this class. Students will learn how renewable energy sources (wind, biomass, geothermal, water, and solar) are leveraged in the engineering field to make our world more eco-friendly. Join us to watch your youth transform into mini-engineers as they try to solve the worlds greatest energy problems. Global Premier Soccer-Maine and NYA will partner to offer a comprehensive soccer program on NYAs campus for students ages 8-13. Each day will focus on a different aspect of the game including passing and receiving, ball control, attacking/defending principles and shooting. The camp will conclude with a mini World Cup tournament on Friday afternoon which parents will be encouraged to attend. Alongside this, we will be running a Coaches Challenge where the students will compete against their coaches with prizes on the line. STRIDE is a fun after-school running and character-building program for boys in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. Throughout the program, the focus is on doing ones personal best, not competing with each other. STRIDE meets twice a week for a total of 10 weeks. The practices are held after school and last for 75 minutes. Each session includes a lesson/discussion, a game/activity, and a running workout with trained coaches.
