Studio Art Morning, Ages 8-9 - The Yard School of Art At Montclair Art Museum
SummerART Camp Studio Art Morning Program 9:30am to 1:45pm Session III: July 25 to August 5 Studio Art Camp Farm to Easel: Animals of the Northeast Celebrate the wonder of summer by exploring the animals and plants that live, blossom, and grow all around us. This session will explore our regions animals and plant life. From the farms to the forest, and birdhouses to beaches, we will be inspired by the colors, shapes, and sound of the flora and fauna that are local to our area. Weather permitting, campers will explore nature on MAMs grounds and at Van Vleck House and Gardens. We will create works of two and three dimensional art in a variety of media inspired by our observations and imaginations! Creative Drama Session 7 - Williamsburg Middle School
Theme: Rainforest Rangers Silly characters take to the stage! Through improvisation, special guest artist workshops, art projects, theatre games and rehearsals, campers will learn the basics of acting. Along the way they will discover new ways of collaborating with peers and the joy of performing. Past workshops have included stage make-up, choreography, singing, yoga, and swordplay! Preschool Camp Week 7 - Norfolk Christian Schools
All the fun of Norfolk Christian Summer Camps designed just for 4 year olds! The children will have fun exploring exciting aspects of summer through crafts, stories and even water play. Thats So Funny with Terry Maguire - The Philadelphia School
Did you ever think, What makes people laugh? What makes you laugh? We will spend a week laughing at comedy throughout the ages and create our own! By watching comedy in many forms, such as cartoons, sit-coms, improv, standup, and movies, we will laugh and learn about the universal truth of comedy and how it has evolved over time and by culture. We will also read funny stories, jokes, and essays, and we will grow as writers by writing our own comedy sketches, stories, jokes, and short films. We will also practice improv. The week will conclude with a comedy performance of the work we will create. Be ready to laugh, think, and push yourself not just to be a funnier person but also to become a comedy expert. New Traditions Spring 16 - Fridays - Frog Hall
Students will be escorted from New Traditions to Frog Hall. Pick up is at Frog Hall when class is over. Spring 2016: Survivor Frog! Have you ever wondered how to make fire without matches, purify water, and build your own shelter? Or what you would do if you were stranded on a desert island? If so, then join Survivor Frog! We will learn to recognize and prepare edible plants, track and stalk wild animals, and make rope and baskets out of plants that grow in your neighborhood park.
