In this program, designed exclusively for teenagers, students will develop a new sense of confidence and empowering self-reliance as they explore nature, ancient skills, and the lore of the Native Americans. Wilderness Survival Skills are the core of this program. Students will learn numerous outdoor skills, such as Primitive fire-making, shelter building, safe water purification and how to identify wild edible and medicinal plants. From here we'll expand outward and introduce your teenagers to variety of nature awareness exercises. These lessons will engage and enhance all of their senses and heighten their level of Awareness for their entire lives. Teens will come away with a true understanding and respect for nature and life in this great program.

Collaboration Intensive - Ohlook Performing Arts Center
Theater is made up of many different elements, come join us in this week and get a taste of all of them. Students will pick a character and then work through the week to create make-up, a costume, props, set design, plus write a monologue or scene for that character to perform on the final day of class. 817-421-2825
Fishing for Families - Ned Smith Center for Nature & Art
Join us for a great day of aquatic adventures at the Ned Smith Center! Families are invited to share the joy of fishing with your up-and-coming anglers, while learning about the complex environment of the Wiconisco Creek. Ample time will be dedicated to casting instruction and practice, as well as fishing along the creek. Equipment is provided. All participants must wear closed-toe, hard soled shoes that can get wet. Each child will receive a spin cast reel and rod at the conclusion of the day. Thanks to our program partners Bass Pro Shops, Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, and Doc Fritchey Chapter of Trout Unlimited, we are able to offer this camp at a reduced fee. Date: Saturday, June 4th 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Age: 8 – 17 with an adult Fee: $20/student; parents are welcome, and encouraged to attend this camp free of charge. 717-692-3699

Youth camps include three balanced meals each day, organized and supervised recreation, missionaries, chapel, camp fires, Bible study, clean cabins and showers and a health supervisor. All campers participate in the entire camping program. Campers are expected to behave in a manner honoring to God. They will remain on the grounds except when participating in scheduled activities away from camp. Campers leaving early must have written permission from parents. Campers are to be in camp by the end of the first day. NOTE: All swimming sessions are supervised, but not necessarily by certified lifeguards. Any concerns or questions should be directed to the Camp Dean of the camp you will be attending. Juniors-Ambassadors: Stow away at Whispering Oaks or Winacka between sessions! Once your first session ends, hang out at camp overnight to rest up for your next adventure. Do laundry, watch a movie and explore camp after everyone else has gone home. Only open to campers registered for sessions 3 and 4 or sessions 6 and 7. Modern cabin accommodations.
