This clinic will teach your child the skills to play Volleyball. They will learn the rules and regulations of the sport to help them become a better player. Students will simulate game-like settings. Interest in this enrichment could potentially form a team for HoLa for motivated players. Students will be escorted to the Multi-service center. Parents need to pick up at the Multi. @4PM SHARP. Materials Science - Ensworth High School
How does stuff break? To answer this question, students investigate how stuff is made and in doing so, will break stuff! Destructive and nondestructive tests will be conducted to investigate catastrophic failures such as bridge collapse, airplane structural failure, containers that leak, pipes that burst, and electrical failures. Advances in materials are at the core of significant technological advances, and we are in a materials revolution today! Students experience a hands-on introduction to materials science, engineering, and technology, joining researchers who push boundaries further than ever before, using biology, chemistry and physics to expand our technological frontiers. Minimum 10 students. PREREQUISITE: prerequisite Science Levels 1 and 2 CREDIT: Semester upper course credit in Science 615-383-0661

Children will have fun learning basic soccer skills like running, chasing and kicking. They will enhance listening and social skills as well as develop coordination and balance as they get their first taste of soccer in a fun and safe environment.
