Never have food challenge reality shows been so popular and Chopped! is a favorite here at Tiny and Gourmet Chefs! We like it so much we decided to base a whole week long camp on the concept. Our version has the added twist of focusing on different cuisines every day of camp. So, each day the Tiny and Gourmet Chef campers will be presented with a basket with 3 or 4 ingredients, which reflect these different cuisines French, Italian, Mexican, Asian and All-American. Hey kids, do you love to get messy? Then this is the art camp for you! Well use clay, papier mâché, paint and more simply sloppy supplies to make projects your mom would never let you do at home. Well become masters at making a mess, learn some pretty cool stuff and have lots of fun while doing it. Making a mess is the best! Please pack a nut-free snack and drink for your child. 952-988-3463
Young Builder (FULL DAY) - San Juan Del Rio Catholic School
This is our FULL DAY option for Young Builder. Campers ages 4-5 will want to join us to learn exciting construction techniques using LEGO® bricks. Little Builder allows campers to take their first steps into science and engineering. By using the themes of construction and travel, campers learn about machines, the tools used to work on machines, and their functions. Our material packs include a wide range of bricks and special elements in various shapes, sizes, and colors that are ideal for stimulating childrens creative and imaginative skills. Camp counselors will introduce tasks each day in building vehicles, planes, buildings, towns and transportation systems as we work in groups to build a LEGO city! Campers receive lots of suggestions for ideas but are encouraged to use their own creativity and imagination. Stories and games are also incorporated into this camp, perfect for our youngest little campers, ages 4 and 5. Our pre-k camps have pre and post camp options available as well!
