Our day camp activities include Horseback Riding, Games on Horseback, Horsemanship Grooming, saddling, Vaulting and more! Beginners are welcome! Horse day camp is for beginner riders as well as advanced riders. Lunch is included. What to wear: long pants, light color t-shirt and boots. We provide riding helmets. 2016 Stanford Synchro Swim Camp - Day - Stanford Athletics
Stanford Synchro Swim Camp will allow coaches the opportunity to work with and observe Olympic medalists, National Team coaches and coaches of the Stanford University Synchronized Swim Team. During this camp, athletes will focus on and learn the importance of injury prevention based land training, sport-specific muscle strengthening, and translation of these elements into the water. They will learn the technical warm-up Stanford Synchro athletes use to train, and a short Stanford Synchro routine to perform at the end of camp. 800-357-7687

February: Build-A-Thon At Keystone Science School, STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) is an integral part of every experience. The Girls in STEM program dives even deeper by exploring not only the STEM concepts in an empowering girls-only environment, but also highlighting real women currently working in STEM careers. This program builds leadership and collaboration between the girls involved as they engage in fun, hands-on activities that impart new skills and confidence in science, tech, engineering, and math - areas in which girls are inclined to be wallflowers. A key element of the program is a teaching technique called positive growth feedback in which "failure" is viewed as a necessary and even welcome step on the path to success. Research has shown that girls are especially receptive to this teaching technique and the scientific method is the ideal process for applying this technique to valuable learning. Horse Camp for a Day 3/25/16 - The Greenwell Foundation
Horse Camp for a Day is for children ages 7 – 14 (by first day of camp session) Based on our popular summer horse camps, Horse Camp for a Day offers similar activities in a one-day format. Riders will be given challenges whether they have never ridden a horse at all, or have some experience. Campers will ride once during the day with a qualified riding instructor. Other activities may include a horse-themed craft, a sensory trail hike, or a horse- themed activity with a horse such as ground work, braiding their mane, or giving them a pony pedicure! An afternoon snack will be provided. Horse Camp for a Day is offered on five days of Spring Break and on occasional days off from St. Marys County Public Schools. PM Extended Care and Drop-In Extended Care is available. Riding will be cancelled and an alternate activity provided if weather conditions make the arena unsafe. We will not cancel lessons lightly as the campers really are here to ride. Horse Camp for a Day operates rain or shine. No refunds will be given in the event there is no riding. 301-373-9775
