Lego Lover Fun with Tedi Fagan - St. Davids School
Are you a lover of Legos? If you like to build and create with LEGOS, then, this is the camp for you! Join Mrs. Fagan and friends for a fun-filled morning of creating and building with different Legos and Lego kits the entire week! We will take construction breaks long enough to have a snack. This is our Culinary Camp week. This week we will be moving around the Bay Area taking daily field trips to learn how to cook. Each day we will head to a different kitchen around the Bay Area and learn from a different about daily cooking themes. As always we will experience this while using public transportation to navigate our way. ***Note****: Due to the locations and the variety of different chefs we are working with on this camp week, we must advise that there will be dishes with nuts, gluten, and other possible food allergies. Level 5 - Dave Hill - DCT - iO West
Class Shows will be Friday 4/1 and 4/8 at 7PM in The Loft Armed with the ability to execute all of the elements of a Harold, you will now learn how to improvise the structure of your shows, leading to wildly inventive pieces that challenge you to express yourself to the fullest extent of your creativity, and help that creativity evolve. This level includes four performances on one of the iO stages. Passing Criteria: Students must demonstrate an ability to navigate all of the elements of a Harold when those elements are not in a training wheels structure. Students must have demonstrated an ability to make choices within a show to drive it structurally using the various elements at their disposal from Level 5. LIGHT TO DARK: DARKROOM EXPLORATION - Walker-MacKenzie Studio - Gertrude Herbert
Instructor: Rosanne Stutts The technical aspects of black-and-white photography will be emphasized so that students can work more creatively with their camera and in the darkroom. Camera operations, use of equipment such as lenses, tripod, and light meter, and correct film selection are among the topics to be covered. Learn basic density and contrast controls for both negatives and prints, along with proper film development. Basic darkroom procedures, safety, printmaking techniques, burning and dodging, toning, archival processing and print presentation will also be discussed. Please bring your own 35-mm camera with manual controls.
