Live the excitement of Star Wars™ in a one of a kind Lego Summer Camp where children build incredible and unique creations from the Star Wars™ universe – unlike anything that theyve built before. Bring these favorite Star Wars™ creations to life by designing and constructing remote-controlled vehicles, robots and spaceships employing Lego Technic parts and up to four Lego Technic motors. Through building complex, unique, and exciting projects and understanding the dynamic mechanisms associated with them, summer camp students gain knowledge on engineering principles, scientific theories and facts about the universe. The Star Wars™ Lego Camp curriculum presents an excellent opportunity for students to learn numerous physics and mechanics principles such as torque, power, complex gear trains, locomotion, mechanical advantages, and much more! Are All Summer Camps Coed?
Not all camps are co-ed. There are some single-gender camps available in addition to traditional co-ed programs. Single-gender camps are great if parents want their children to focus on empowerment and independence. Many youth today are distracted by the other gender, and this is a chance to give kids a break so that they learn how to be friends with their peers. Many of these programs work with nearby groups so that the campers can get off camp and interact with a variety of people. Coed camps are a great way for kids to get to know one another and...

Youth strength and conditioning camp - Houston, TX
Calling all youth athletes and aspiring athletes!!! Parents, Bring your kids out to this clinic to improve their knowledge and skills in core strength, conditioning, footwork and combat fighting drills. This is a free event that is proposed for kids from second to eighth grade. The instructors of this event are Police Officers who enjoy working with youth on becoming better people and athletes while giving tips to improve their proficiency in any sport. If you are interested in signing your child up for this event please contact one us in a direct message. Again, we want to advise that this event is designed to give workout tips to all athletes!!!! Please be aware that this is a volunteered event and injury may occur. If injury occurs, we encourage parents to contact medical personnel. Please be aware of your child health conditions before attending this event. Instructors will not be liable for any injury that occurs. Upon arrival, Parents are encouraged to check in child(s) at 7am. Please arrive in workout attire with tennis shoes. Bring a towel, plenty of water and fruit. Tuesdays, 2:45 - 4:00pm No class 2/23, 3/29 Refund policy: If you decide to cancel your childs registration, we can offer you a full refund if you contact us to cancel before the date of the second class. If you cancel after that date there will be a $15 fee. Low enrollment: "Take My Word For It!" occasionally has to cancel a class due to low enrollment.
