Programs that are best suited for children have to provide very rigid structure, well-trained staff, and individualized attention. Enrollment in this activity is only for kids enrolled in Fine Art Studio Camps taking place at the Palo Alto Art Center in the same week as the Pre Camp. Tumbling will introduce students to the beginnings and basics of all gymnastic skills, including an introduction to form in more advanced tumbling as well as work on flexibility. Students will learn forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, round offs, handstands, bridge kick overs and front walk overs. 703-503-0783

Campers aged 5-6 have fun creating with their peers in age appropriate classes inspired by a current textile related exhibition in New York. Campers will try their hand at printing, felting, sewing, weaving, and dyeing with both natural + synthetic dyes, creating finished projects every week. Every day, campers venture on a field trip to the Textile Arts Center Manhattan to print, dye, sew, and on Weaving Wednesdays, campers work on looms to create their very own contemporary fabric.
