The Folsom Lake SRA Junior Lifeguard Program trains children ages 8-16 years of age in aquatic safety, while providing them with an interactive and well rounded outdoor education. Each participant is given instruction and hands on training in CPR/1st Aid and Aquatic Rescue techniques/equipment. Educational trips include a river-rafting trip, bicycle tour of the American River bike trail, and ocean orientation during the Santa Cruz camping trip. **Please keep in mind that one uniform T-shirt and a JG rashguard are included in the tuition price. If you wish to purchase more uniform items, you may do so on this same registration site. This includes board shorts, sweatpants and sweatshirts, additional t-shirts or rashguards, or patches to put on your own store bought navy blue gear. 916-791-1007

This Minecraft-based camp focuses on general scientific principles and how they relate to the world of Minecraft and to the real world. Lessons in botany and biology will teach about the plants and animals that live and grow in Minecraft. Discussions about mineralogy and geology will explore the various gems and crystals found in Minecraft and explain how landscapes are made and formed. This camp also focuses on real life creatures such as Wolves who roam across the game world, just as they do in the real world. Pop Rock Star - Ohlook Performing Arts Center
Do you dream of being Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez or Katy Perry? Come learn the art of rock and pop. We will sing your favorite pop songs, and will even write some songs of our own. Students will be taught to play a few basic chords on guitar and piano. Our instructor Zoe Ann has her own band, toured on concert, and albums of her own.
