Community Boating Center of New Bedfords mission is to "Teach positive life values to youth through boating." This summer we are working even more in incorporate US Sailings REACH program into our summer programs. The REACH program works to teach children science, technology, engineering and math in fun and innovative ways. It helps kids learn STEM subjects while engaging in fun land and water based activities. Our programs also follow the philosophy of safety, fun and learning in that order. This summer Community Boating has Chosen to assign students to their classes. We believe assigning students will allow us the best flexibility to get more children involved in our programs as well as it will allow our instructors their best opportunity to mentor and teach children. 5089926219.0

Taekwondo (TKD) is an ancient Korean martial art that can be learned by anyone, at any age. TKD will teach you valuable self-defense skills and will increase your energy and self-confidence as you see your health improving at the same time! We will use stretching, toning, calisthenics, and cardio-muscular exercises as we practice and perform proper punches, kicks, and blocks. Maker Station-Fine Arts - Amador Elementary School
MAKER STATION Come build with us this summer! Your child will be working with a variety of materials in a STEAM maker station. Students will create their own science or art projects. They will also deconstruct items and study reverse engineering to examine how things work. Our station includes beginning snap circuits, Brackitz bionic blocks, and an introduction to coding when we build mazes for our very own Bee-Bot robot. As an added bonus in the station, we also have GoldieBlox kits to encourage more girls to get excited about building. The Maker Station encourages creativity, exploration, and innovation. Specialized sports program utilizing biometric exercises that will promote the development of gross motor skills, coordination and balance. Fantastic 6 HERO Sports for 6 weeks!
