This camp has a rich tradition of over 99 years. My 10 year old son would not miss registering for this camp. He loves the location, which is by the water. He also enjoys the focus on developing athleticism, leadership and problem solving skills. Our son can’t say enough positive things about the camp counselors, teachers and coaches. Eazywork Bartendaz in collaboration with City of Rochester Department of Recreation and Youth Services and Blessings in a Bookbag Community project present THE INVESTMENT: Health, Wellness and Fitness boost. This FREE community event and backpack giveaway promotes health nutrition & wellness gearing kids up for back to school by stimulating their minds and bodies to grow and effect our community in a positive way and teaching them how to make the right decisions with their body so they can make great decisions in the classroom. Youth will receive a free haircuts, lunch and a book bag with supplies donated by local businesses and the Dept. of Recreation (while supplies last). Camp CCYT is BACK! Caryl Crane Youth Theatre is pleased to announce GODSPELL as its 2016 summer camp offering! Explore all aspects of the theatre with other aspiring actors who love the stage as much as you do! Camp CCYT is the arts camp that is more than a traditional summer camp. Designed for students ages 10-18, the program is a comprehensive, one-week intensive, in which students get a chance to hone their skills in a fast-paced, creative environment. Camp CCYT meets July 18-23, 2015, 9am – 3 pm in the McBride Auditorium on BGSU Firelands College Campus. One performance of Godspell is scheduled for Saturday, July 23 at 10 am. Each student will not only STAR onstage in the production, but also will also contribute to the direction, choreography, set, lighting and costume design of the production. Students will be assigned a mentor from the Caryl Crane Youth Theatre 2016 Staff and will work as assistants on a specific “behind-the-scenes” area of their interest. Camp CCYT is designed to instill in aspiring thespians a deeper understanding about producing and participating in a first-class musical with working professionals.
