We are scheduling our Twenty-Second Constitution Boot Camp for Saturday, March 12th. The cost of the class will be a $20 donation per person with book set. If you have more than one coming from the same family and only want one set of books, it will be a $5 donation for each additional person. JUMP START SPORTS- LACROSSE CAMP (FULL-DAY) - Ben Robertson Community Center
Get ready to learn all about the fastest growing sport in the United States! Lacrosse has elements of soccer, football, basketball and hockey. Once you try lacrosse, youll love it! All equipment will be provided in this highly instructional program. Campers will receive training on all fundamentals, including passing and catching; fielding ground balls, cradling, spacing, positioning, and defense. Plastic sticks and soft balls will be used which eliminates the need for helmets and shoulder pads. No checking, stick checking, or poking will be permitted! Join anytime during the week (fee will be pro-rated). Multi-Camp Discount: Register for two or more full-day Jump Start Sports Camps and receive a $15 discount off the registration fee for the second and each subsequent camp. Supplies: Campers should bring a packed lunch with a beverage, snacks and plenty of water each day. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen, as needed. We recommend a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30. 06th 2016 Camp, Buckaroo DAY Camp (4 Day) - Blue Point Stables
This Camp is a 4 (Four) Day Buckaroo Day Camp. Camp begins each day at 9:00 EST and ends at 4:00 pm in the afternoon. The Wednesday Night Overnight stay is offered only as an option, and has an additional charge. Campers are not required to select this option. Campers will be assigned a horse to ride and care for. In the larger enrollment classes, campers share assigned horses. Activities that the campers will be involved with are... Riding Lessons (generally twice a day, weather permitting) Grooming, Stall Care & Management, Equine Characteristics, Arts and Crafts, Horse Health and Welfare and Swimming Pool fun at the end of each day. Plus, making friends or renewing previous relationships with new and returning campers alike. Campers have the option to purchase and challenge the test for a CHA riding level. Campers receive the appropriate CHA Riding Level Book. Successful campers are awarded the appropriate Certificate, Patch and Pin. Campers falling below the testing standards are allowed to retest.
