Class meet: January 21, 28, February 4, 11, 25, March 3, 10, 17 No class February 18th Ready to learn the basics of making a film? This 7 week class will take students through the entire film making process, including screenwriting, story-boarding (pre-production planning), camera and sound work, and final editing (post-production). Students will work together as a production team to create a short film together. Students will also take home a DVD of the final product to view at home! All equipment provided. C.T. Townsend's Youth Camp has been the talk of our church & I can see a lot of the kids getting excited about attending! We currently have 38 kids signed up and ready to go so of course they are going to be helping out with this :) and the cost is $250 per child this would help out tremendously for the parents.. There is no set cost on the plates but just to donate what the heart leads you to❤

Tween Camp - Camp Mardela
Campfires, Bible lessons, crafts, nature hikes, recreation and swimming are just the beginning of an activity-filled week for campers who are completing the 5th to 7th grades. Campers will enjoy canoeing and archery. All camp activities are designed to meet the needs of tweens. This is a wonderful opportunity to make new friends and reconnect with those met before. **Participants MUST be registered in a class to be able to participate in this production. Seussical Jr! Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat, our narrator, tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos, including Jojo, a Who child who gets in trouble for thinking too many "thinks." Hortons challenge is twofold - not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must also guard an abandoned egg thats been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, kidnapping, and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family, and community are challenged and emerge triumphant! All who register will be cast. Auditions Saturday, February 13th , from 2 - 5 for part placement. This camp is for kids that love robots. Our entire camp will be spent on different types of robotics building and programming activities. We will use consumer robotics, like LEGO Mindstorm, and also create custom solutions with hobby robotics platforms, like Arduino. Kids will take home an awesome Arduino robot for ongoing invention!
