The Junior Wildcat promotes skill development for ages 8-13. The emphasis of the camp is to teach the fundamentals of basketball through drills and game play. Specific skills that will be taught are shooting, dribbling, passing, rebounding, and defense. All of the skills and fundamentals taught will be sharpened through drills and put into game play. The coaches and players of Chico State Basketball will be teaching and emphasizing the same skills that are taught at every Chico State practice. All Chico State Basketball Camps provide challenging and exciting basketball instruction to develop the skills of youth basketball players in our community. Coach Law and his staff will cover ball handling, shooting, passing, defense (team and individual), and many more skills that will help you take your game to the next level. The basketball camp will have team-building through the course of the camp with games from skill development to actual 5 on 5! Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the class each day. Please provide your child with lunch for each day. You may sign up your child for all 3 weeks.
