Classes will be held every Thursday 11:00 – 12:30pm for five weeks starting July 14th. Young artists will be introduced to the wonderful world of art to create two and three dimensional works. Students will explore and experiment with color, exciting art materials, and tools while learning about the elements of art. Artists will look at art, talk about art, and create masterpieces! Treasure Hunting with Stamps! Letterboxing! - The Evergreen School
A week of stamp making, hiking and treasure hunting. Students will create their own stamps, follow directions, and find hidden letterboxes. They will stamp in and collect stamps from each of our daily hikes. We will even make our own letterboxes, write up the clues and hide them for others to find. Students will be hiking approximately 1-3 miles daily with plenty of time for breaks, lunch, play, and treasure hunting. Children must bring a lunch, a full water bottle, and should wear sturdy sneakers or hiking boots. The class will be outdoors all day walking fairly easy trails.
