One Day Prep Camp - Trienens Indoor Fieldhouse
NOTE: GOALKEEPER REGISTRATION IS FULL FOR THIS CAMP. We encourage your goalkeeper to attend the next One Day Prep Camp in June - details TBA. One Day Camp for those serious club and high school soccer players interested in playing college soccer in their future. Players are usually of high level but camp is open to all based only on age. The day is comprised of technical training, small sided games, full sided games, and a recruiting lecture by the Northwestern Coaching Staff. Singing for the Stage and Beyond - The Little Theatre of Alexandria
This class is designed to introduce and strengthen the fundamentals of voice/singing for the adult voice. Students will learn proper breathing placement and projection techniques, as well as technical and interpretive principles. In addition, students will learn to select and prepare songs for their particular voices. Limited to ages 17 and older. INSTRUCTOR BIO: BEVERLEY BENDA, a professional singer by trade, is a classical soprano with The United States Army Band Pershings Own, and Programming NCO and Script Writer for their Public Affairs Office. She has performance and teaching degrees from James Madison University, Eastern Illinois University, and The Eastman School of Music, and has appeared in a variety of musical productions including Brigadoon, Carmen, Carousel, Oklahoma!, Kismet, The Pirates of Penzance, Dialogue of the Carmelites, My Fair Lady, The Music Man, Hollywood Pinafore, Its A Grand Night for Singing, and the first revival of Call Me Mister. Volleyball Camp - JrHS/HS Residential Camp - Chico State University - Acker Gym
The Junior High School/High School camp is designed for the boy or girl volleyball player, ages 12-18, who is preparing for the upcoming season. The camp offers the opportunity to explore new techniques for learning the fundamental volleyball skills. The mornings and afternoons will emphasize individual and team skills and how to incorporate them into overall team play. The evenings will be primarily six-on-six team play through various games and tournaments. With great instruction and good competition, the camper should depart camp with a newfound confidence in his or her game.
