July 26-August 1, 2015 (Sunday - Saturday) COST: $245 per camper Registration: Sunday at 3:00pm Come join the fun at Teen Camp as we discover how we can be "Consumed with Christ" in all that we say & do. Teen camp is an action packed week with late night recreation, crazy games and relays, horses, archery, tournaments, relaxing in the pool or playing a game of pool in the air conditioned recreation room while making new friends or hanging out with old ones. Last year this week almost sold out, so register early. Teen Camp is open to students entering grades 7 thru 2015 Graduates. There will be a separate program for Jr. High and High School. The $50 non-refundable deposit is due by July 1, 2015 to secure a place for your child. To receive a $10 discount please mail in the remaining balance due or the complete amount due by July 6th, 2015. Teen Cooking Camp: Session 3 - Rochester, MN
Your West Circle Drive Hy-Vee is offering a series of cooking classes designed to teach teens (age 12-17) essential cooking skills! Each class will feature a different theme. Teens will be able to eat their creations at the end of the class. July 28th: Italian cooking: pastas and sauces Classes will be taught in our DISH classroom by the in-store dietitian and one of our talented chefs. Fees: $25 per class, due on date of registration. Join us as we gently explore the trails of the Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art in search of leaves, twigs, acorns, etc. so that we can create our own beautiful nature-inspired craft projects and works of art. Acting and Auditioning Studio Workshop - The Georgetown Palace Theatre
This 3 week workshop puts an in depth focus on the skills needed to succeed in theatre and performance. Working with professional performers, directors, and teaching artists, students will receive instruction in Acting, Vocals, and Dance including: -script analysis -improvisation -monologue technique -physicality -breaking down lyrics -finding the story of the song -basics of a professional musical theatre audition -choosing songs that showcase YOU -finding a 16-bar cut -working with an accompanist -stretching and warm up -basics of musical theatre dance -moving like a dancer -dance auditions (how to make it out alive) The workshop culminates in a feedback audition to introduce you to local theatre professionals on Friday night as well as a student designed performance of skills on Saturday morning.
