We certainly had a lot of fun playing around with the name of Camp Kupugani on the ride up. Once we got to the site for the drop off I was pleasantly surprised at how fast our boy seemed to acclimate to his new surroundings. Entry-level robotics and programming. Campers learn robotics using LEGO® Education WeDo™. Our young creators build snapping alligators, race cars, talking birds, and spinning robots, attach sensors and motors, and then program their creations with the WeDo visual drag-and-drop programming software. Counselors guide and encourage exploration and trial and error field-testing. Instead of simply "snapping bricks together," campers are encouraged to think critically about how their robot design can be changed and to understand more complicated engineering techniques such as gear use, pulleys, and inclined planes. Campers will also complete a small LEGO® project that they will be able to take home. 805-570-1988

Calling all campers who are curious, full of questions, and eager to investigate the world around us! Campers will use scientific tools to go on expeditions in and around our Museum to study and observe what lives here. The Michigan Golf program offers outstanding instructional opportunities for golfers entering grades 6 through 12 who are interested in improving their game at the University of Michigan. The coaches of the Michigan Golf Team will teach the fundamentals of short game, give person full-swing instruction, and address on-course strategies. Students will participate in skill contests and have the opportunity to learn on course strategies at our on- site, Alister Mackenzie golf course.
