CAMP DETAILS Seussical Jr Week Everyone is invited on our Seussical adventure this summer! Let your imagination take you into the wild and wacky world of Dr. Suess and some of his best loved stories such as "Horton Hears A Who" and "One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish". Become a Who, Yertle the Turtle or even that Cat in the Hat while learning hit songs from the Broadway smash. Well play games to increase confidence and self expression as well as make our own props and set pieces. Participants of this camp will be invited to perform during a VIP pre-show before our full scale production of Seussical Jr. on the Main Stage of the Athenaeum Theatre in Lakeview. Performances are the evening of August 26th and afternoon of August 27th. Performers will receive one complimentary ticket to see the performance after their VIP show. 773-944-9146

Survivors.Cooking.For.Survivors.. "S.C.F.S." --- ROUND 4 Come Cook with us!! Our Teens will be taught how to make from scratch exquisite side dishes and amazing Holiday favorites! Chef Travis Levi (a survivor himself) will be leading the teens through everything from the importance of kitchen etiquette to making healthy choices. Pre-teen Improv Summer Camp (Session 1) - Norfolk, VA
This camp is open to children ages 7 to 12. Students will explore the key elements of both long and short form improvisation. The children will play numerous improv games which will serve to develop and enhance their public-speaking, social, and team-building skills. This camp will be conducted in a non-judgmental environment where the students will build confidence, make friends, and most importantly… have fun. Snacks will be provided on a daily basis and there will be a pizza-party for lunch on Friday. The camp concludes on Saturday with all students performing in a graduation show on the stage of the Push Comedy Theater. Each student will receive a Push Comedy Theater T-shirt and be eligible to perform in the 5th Annual Norfolk Comedy Festival in late September 2016. We will have 3 sessions throughout the summer. Session1: July 11th - 15th, 9:30am to noon Session 2: August 1st - 5th, 9:30 to noon Session 3: August 22nd - 26th, 9:30 to noon These are all beginner level sessions, no experience is necessary. Tution is $200 for new students (includes a t-shirt), $190 for returning students.

Spartan Quest AM (9-11:30) 1 week 1st-8th grades - Wichita Collegiate School
Instructor: Leddy Summertime fun begins at Spartan Quest, (formerly known as Sports Camp). This class will run for all 10 weeks of summer school giving your camper a consistent, exciting summer daycamp experience. We will spend the mornings doing fun things on campus like; playing games, flying kites, dodge ball, hide-n-seek, flag football, basketball, video games, etc…. We also will build our own fun when we build things like; bow and arrows from PVC pipe, marshmallow shooters, mini-golf-courses, obstacle courses, scavenger hunts, and anything else we can think of! In the afternoon we continue our fun off campus at places like; Tanganyika, ice skating, roller skating, Lazerquest, Watson Park, mini-golf, All-Star Adventures, Water Center, Bug Lady and many more too numerous to mention. Magic Tree House Club - Old Trail School
Come along as we help Annie and Jack, two normal kids from Frog Creek, Pennsylvania (much like you), to free Morgan le Fay from a spell, solve ancient riddles and save four old stories from being lost for good. This camp will use the Magic Tree house books to serve as a guide as campers try to become Master Librarians. Each day will include reading, time outside and a snack.
