At Keystone Science School, STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) is an integral part of every experience. The Girls in STEM program dives even deeper by exploring not only the STEM concepts in an empowering girls-only environment, but also highlighting real women currently working in STEM careers. This program builds leadership and collaboration between the girls involved as they engage in fun, hands-on activities that impart new skills and confidence in science, tech, engineering, and math - areas in which girls are inclined to be wallflowers. A key element of the program is a teaching technique called positive growth feedback in which "failure" is viewed as a necessary and even welcome step on the path to success. Research has shown that girls are especially receptive to this teaching technique and the scientific method is the ideal process for applying this technique to valuable learning. Girls in STEM will: Motivate and encourage participation and leadership in young females in STEM related fields. The Perfect Vacation
I have to admit that when we dropped our son off at Camp Kentahten my husband and I were a little bit jealous. We had planned our own mini-vacation to coincide with our son's summer camp stay but we were going to my parents. I would much rather stay at one of those gorgeous lakefront rooms. Come out for this free 45 minute lesson about LEGO robotics, build and program a working robot! Appropriate for ages 6-12 years old. Please only sign up for one free session. If there are free spaces the day of the sessions we will allow you to attend a second or third class. (904) 707-2121

Pandas are campers aged 3 1/2 to 5 who will not yet be in Kindergarten this fall. Parents may choose Traditional Camp, a Specialty Camp, or a combination of both. Extended Care options will be visible at checkout. This summers Traditional Camp theme is World Geography. 302-475-0555

Our popular day camps return with exciting experiential themes. Campers can learn firsthand what its like to be an animal keeper and care for our rescued wild animals, discover frontier life skills, experiment with earth science and create art and photography inspired by High Desert nature and culture. Our childhood education experts have designed these week-long day camps to inspire ages 5 through 10 with unique, enriching hands-on experiences. Our campers have so much fun, they dont realize how much they are learning! Parents rave about the quality and value of our camps. Every day, children in each camp meet the Museums live animals, such as owls, porcupines and reptiles, and learn about them from our biologists and educational staff.
