Wonderful Program
Before settling on the 4-H Center for our daughter's summer camp we had the chance to take a tour. We were very impressed. The bunkrooms were spotless. Although I can only imagine what will happen when the kids move in! They have a full program that is sure to keep the kids busy and challenged throughout their stay. KCF Teen Camp - Terra Alta, WV
Kingwood Christian Fellowship's Teen Camp 2015 is open to all high school teens (grades 9-12). Cost of camp is $35.00 if you pre-register by August 15 or $40.00 if you register after August 15. You can register up until 6:00 p.m. at the camp on August 21, the first day of camp. Siblings who register together each get $5.00 off of the cost of camp. Teen & Campus Fall Kickoff - Manhattan Beach, CA
Here are the details of the 2nd Annual Teen and Campus Fall Kickoff! The location is going to be the Mira Costa High School Auditorium at: 1401 Artesia Blvd. Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 United States The worship and lesson will go from 6:30pm - 8pm, and from 8pm-9:30pm we will have a College Fair! Each campus ministry of the LA Church will be represented. Martin Chairez will be our main speaker of the night, as we give an incredible vision of staying focused in this harvest season. We highly encourage the parents of the Juniors and Seniors to come, to get any questions answered during the college fair and to catch a vision for what the coming years will hold for their student. Did you ever think, What makes people laugh? What makes you laugh? We will spend a week laughing at comedy throughout the ages and create our own! By watching comedy in many forms, such as cartoons, sit-coms, improv, standup, and movies, we will laugh and learn about the universal truth of comedy and how it has evolved over time and by culture. We will also read funny stories, jokes, and essays, and we will grow as writers by writing our own comedy sketches, stories, jokes, and short films. We will also practice improv. The Art of Cubism: Clay Reliefs - Location: Center for The Creative Arts
This class will explore cubist artist such as Picasso and Braque. Students will create their very own cubist work of art in clay while learning basic techniques of using slabs to create 3/D form. Students will learn basic and intermediate techniques of slab application, handbuilding, texture application, and glass fusion into clay.
