For over 20 years FONZ Nature Camp has matched campers with an appreciation for the great outdoors. My 13 year old son has attended this camp for the last 3 years. He plans to go again next year as well. Since the Dallas Harvest Festival has been cancelled, we have moved our annual Craft Fair fundraiser to that Saturday, (Sept. 19th) cause folks like YOU will be looking for something else to do. Additionally we will be expanding to include a Flea Market! Come shop at the Craft Fair for gifts, home decor, handcrafted jewelry, wood crafts, and more. This year's event includes a flea market, bake sale, and a chili cook-off. The Snackshop will be open with some delicious lunch & dinner specials including our famous APPLE DUMPLINGS!-Get 'em while they last! Proceeds will benefit students attending Student Life Camp and/or the Fall Leadership Retreat.

Fairy Tales Through a Microscope - The Evergreen School
Fairy tales do not require fairies… interesting! In this class, students will be examining fairy tales. Where did the term fairy tales come from? When did fairy tales begin? Some fairy tales explored this week include The Three Little Pigs, Jack and the Beanstalk, and The Frog Prince. The original versions will read and discussed. We will take a look at todays childrens literature and how fairy tales have changed through the years… often in funny ways. We will explore different versions of tales from different cultures. Students will also be reinventing their own fairy tales. 206-957-1533
Secondary Robotics - UWF Main Campus
Take your robotic skills to the next level at this camp for incoming 7th to 9th graders. Learn the processes involved in developing a robot, be introduced to programming, creatively design sensors to accomplish tasks, and much more. Campers who have previously worked with Parallax Boe Bots in Intermediate Robotics will have the opportunity to better develop more in-depth coding and use more sensors. 8504737468.0

Students will learn the fundamentals of creating a computer game using the program, Construct. They will learn the art and science of creating complex levels filled with obstacles, puzzles, and opponents. The basics of programming, level design, and game design will be introduced. 480-833-7338
Maple sugaring adventure! - Common Ground
Maple sugaring: February and March are sugaring season in Connecticut! The sap flows strongly on sunny mornings when it is just above freezing. Hopefully we will catch a sap run and taste some sap right from the tree! We will check out the Sugar Shack and see where the sap is boiled into syrup, make and eat some maple treats, and explore the forest for signs of spring. ********************************************************** Who: these classes are for children of all ages with a parent or caregiver (no drop-off option available for winter classes). Program fee: $15 for the first child ages 3 and up, $10 for each additional child (ages 3 and up). The sibling discount will be applied automatically when you register online. No charge for children ages 2 and under. Location: Common Ground, 358 Springside Ave, New Haven, CT 06515. For students who have their own archery equipment (intermediate or adult style bow and 6 arrows), this camp combines individual lessons and group challenges. Participants will get to experience a number of archery games such as Vegas, 5 Spot, 3-D and Flint. This summer camp is all about having fun with friends while mastering their archery skills.
