LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Beginning and Advanced Sewing with Machines - The Evergreen School
Children can spend their week learning to sew or improving their sewing skills. A sewing machine will be provided for each student to use during class. Beginning students will start with a tote bag and pencil pouch. Advanced students will be able to choose what they would like to make from different patterns presented. Several projects will be available for both boys and girls. No previous sewing experience is necessary. 206-957-1533

Laker Youth Football Camp w/Coach Coury - Lake Oswego, OR
This camp, for players entering Grades 3 through 8 in Fall 2016, will focus on the fundamentals of football. Participants will be coached on proper technique and position skill development, and will receive an introduction to LAKER FOOTBALL.

Teen Robotics Camp - Day 4 - Dublin, GA
For rising 7th-12th graders. This is a 4-day robotics workshop where we will be learning how to build and program LEGO Mindstorms. SEATS ARE LIMITED. PLEASE REGISTER IN ADVANCE AT THE REFERENCE DESK. Teens who register are expected to attend all four days of the workshop.

Camp S.W.A.G. Teen Talent Show
Camp S.W.A.G. (Students With Ambitions & Goals) is hosting a Teen Talent Show Fundraiser on January 29th, 2016 with a TENTATIVE location of Panther Creek High School in Cary, NC. We will keep you up to date on the exact location. Ticket are $15 in advance and $18 at the door. Are you a high school student who wants to audition for the talent show? Jr. Space Engineer - San Juan Del Rio Catholic School
Using LEGO® bricks, campers will design and build structures and space vehicles for living on far away planets. Campers will utilize a variety of LEGO® bricks including motors, gears, lights, and sensors. Space Engineer includes instruction on the Earth, Moon, stars, and planets as well as the scientific topics of force, friction, simple machines, and gravity. Campers will also join the crew aboard the International Space Station (ISS) to learn about propulsion, friction and more. Counselors will assign specific projects each day that include: a rotating satellite, space buggy, a stunning spaceship, terrestrial homes that can withstand alien atmospheres and a host of other exciting projects. Campers will work in teams to complete their missions. Our camps are 9am-4pm with pre and post camp options available as well! Please pack a peanut-free snack, bag lunch and refreshment for your child. Each camper receives one free camp t-shirt with each week of registration - order as many extras as you want at checkout! JUMP START SPORTS- CHEERLEADING CAMP (HALF-DAY) - Ben Robertson Community Center
Campers will learn a variety of cheers, jumps, kicks and movements. We?ll also play fun cheerleading games and decorate crazy uniforms to wear at an exhibition on the last day of camp. Cheerleading camp provide children a highly active endeavor in a non-competitive environment that fosters fun and the development of friendships. Join anytime during the week (fee will be pro-rated). Supplies: Campers should bring a snack and beverage and plenty of water each day. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen, as needed.
