Grades 7th-12th This camp is an overnight camp at Brewton Parker College. Campers will be in small groups with friends and participate in mission projects and team building activities together throughout the week. National Elite Camp: This camp is designed for a varsity athlete or club player who plays year round. It is an intensive four day training program including elements of individual, team and specialty training. Three sessions will be dedicated to individual skill development. Three sessions will be designed to improve the players skills within their specialty. An adventure trip of a lifetime. Our Northwoods Adventure Camp at Camp Bluewater is the ultimate outdoor camping experience. Campers will find the each bend of Bluewater Lake beautiful and inviting as they canoe and portage a chain of lakes within the Chippewa National Forest. Campers will gain confidence in their Outdoor Living Skills and deepen their relationship with nature. Friendships made on this trip are forever, and the memories youll make are to be treasured. Each student will be given a Writers Notebook. This is a safe place for students to keep ideas and thoughts like real authors do. We will explore different genres and mentor text. The students will explore ideas, develop volume, revise, edit and publish final pieces of their writing. This will be accomplished through a Writers Workshop format. Java Programming Part II - The Digital Arts Experience
This course assumes basic knowledge of Java and applies it to the Processing environment. This allows students to use Java to express themselves in a more creative format with easy-to-use graphical capabilities. Students can choose to either make artistic projects with a narrative or an interactive game. This class will help grow the students understanding of Java, as well as how to incorporate new libraries and methods. It will challenge the students to be inventive with not only how to solve problems, but also with the creative direction of their projects.
