The Phone Bank will air live from Fox 61 and WCCT (CW) on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 beginning from 9a.m. to 10a.m. and then returning from 4p.m. to 7p.m. Your support of this campaign will help Hartford’s Camp Courant and Fox 61 further their missions to support education-based programs for children throughout the greater Hartford community. Our goal is to raise $100,000 during the live four-hour televised fundraiser, which will help to enhance the summer experience for nearly 1,000 Hartford children this year. We have a long standing, aligned and focused partnership with Fox 61 who is dedicated to making a positive difference. Everything they do in the community will link directly to their mission of HOPE (Helping Organizations Promote Education) where they will focus their resources to maximize impact. Dream of being a pop star? Then come to camp and start that journey! Learn vocals and choreography to Taylor Swift and Katy Perrys most popular songs among others! Take the stage and perform with cordless mics under the LED and laser lights! We will learn choreography and vocals to a medley of songs and put on a performance at the end of camp. Every child will receive solo parts in one or more of the songs. The kids will receive a makeover before the big show (including hair and makeup). 817-421-2825

This class will explore cubist artist such as Picasso and Braque. Students will create their very own cubist work of art in clay while learning basic techniques of using slabs to create 3/D form.
