With so many programs and organizations, selecting a camp can be overwhelming. To whittle this list down, parents should think about both their goals as well as their child’s interests. Different programs have different focuses. For example, adults may want their children to explore their faith by learning more about their religion whereas other parents may want to encourage their child’s musical talents.

Growing Scientists: Nature Detectives - CuriOdyssey
Look through lenses, peek at a plant, or construct creations inspired by nature. Follow your nose through our garden, touch a tortoise, and search outdoors for clues to natures design. This camp encourages young scientists to explore the world using all five senses. Well explore nature through safe and exciting investigations of sound, light, texture, taste, and smell. Campers are sure to enjoy getting their hands dirty as they discover the sparkly, gooey, and stinky sides of science! Growing Scientists must be at least 3 years old by June 1, 2016, potty trained and able to use the bathroom independently. Lake Adventure Camp - Burlington, VT
This camp combines the best of all our lake ecology, maritime heritage and adventure skills— for kids who love to be outdoors! We will explore the waterfront environment on bikes; explore shipwrecks with masks, snorkels and fins; and take an expedition down a river as original inhabitants of the Champlain Basin would have. Well be on the go but have enough down-time for swimming, playing games and having fun on the waterfront each day. 802-475-2022

Registrations are now being accepted for Ice Town Carlsbad: Sunday March 20th April: 3, 10, 17, 24 May: 1 from 11:30am- 12:30pm 2016 Lil Kings Program requirements: Participant must be between the ages of 4-8 as of March 12th, 2016. 2013, 2014, and 2015 Lil Kings participants are not eligible. Participant must have no prior ice hockey experience. This program is for first time players only. CCM equipment will be professionally fitted and picked up at the Official Lil Kings fitting event. Additional details on the official Lil Kings fitting event will be sent out after your registration is confirmed. The LA Kings highly recommend skating lessons before the Lil Kings event. Please contact your local ice rink for details on learn to skate programs.
