Special Features: Specific goalie instruction, individual position work, emphasis on shooting and team tactics as well as everyone will participate in the camp tournament. Check In & Pick Up Information Check In - Resident & Day Campers: Check in will be between 4:00 - 4:30 pm on the first day at the dorms. A long water session will be this evening. Pick Up - Resident & Day Campers: Camp concludes at 11:45 AM on the final day of camp at the Avery Aquatic Center. Amazing Summer Adventure
We felt it was very important for our kids to spend at least a portion of the summer surrounded by nature. They got plenty of that at Moss Hollow! This was a summer of first for our children including first time in a canoe, first time sleeping overnight outside the home, first time camping, first time fishing. Get a taste of what Camp Jonah has to offer its campers in these 10k, 5k, and kid’s 1 mile adventure runs; with all proceeds going directly to camp scholarships to help get kids to camp! If you like your races with a little more "fun" than "run" Jonah’s 5k obstacle run is the race for you. Test your limits by wading through mud pits, scaling climbing walls, conquering inflatable obstacles, dodging flying water balloons, and battling many more surprises along the way. Win the race to be crowned camp King or Queen. Be sure to bring your messy clothes/shoes, you may get dirty! For the more serious runners we recommend our 10k scenic run exploring the beauty of Trout Lake. With Mount Adams as your backdrop, this is a race is one you won’t want to miss. Keelboat Adventures is a perfect fit for those kids who want to learn to sail on bigger boats. Our 23 foot Sonar will take these students all over Fishers Island Sound. A NESS instructor will be onboard while students learn how to work as a team to get this boat cruising. This class will cover the basics of rigging, steering and navigating this larger platform all while having fun. 860-535-9362

Locally owned, Challenger Sports runs the largest number of soccer camps in the United States. Challenger will coach over 80,000 players throughout the U.S each year. Olathe Parks & Recreation has teamed up to host the week long British Soccer Camp during the week of May 31-June 3 at Black Bob Park, June 27-30 at Prairie Center Park and then again July 25-29 at Black Bob Park. We have incredible coaches with neat accents who make learning fun! We recruit the best coaches in the business and we are about every child having a good day every day! The Challenger Way focuses on challenging players to improve with maximum participation, maximum touches on the ball and maximum fun. Simply put, no line drills, no long speeches and lots of encouragement. Each of our coaches hold a national coaching license from Great Britain and are trained specifically for the British Soccer Camp program.
