Final Summer 2016 Kid's Riding Camp - Georgetown, TX
Sign up now for our last riding camp of the summer for children ages 3 - 18. Camps are half days, and kids learn about safety first, equipment, horses and riding in our soft-sand enclosed and covered round pen and enclosed outdoor arena. Kid's are outside getting exercise in the sunshine and fresh air, learning a new skill, having fun, and gaining in self-confidence. What could be better? All classes taught by Eric Clarke, horseman and natural horsemanship clinician with 35+years experience as a professional horse and people trainer, assisted by several of his horsemanship apprentices. Class size is limited. All equpment and horses provided, except for boots (with a bit of a heel please; no sneakers) and helmets (no bicycle helmets). Siblings may share helmets as needed. Fall Barrel Bash - Stonewall, OK
For pre registration please call Regina at 405-221-7647. There will be exhibitions. The ground crew will be 3 Crosses. There wil be 1/2 split . There is a $5 arena fee for all contestants and there is a youth division. Friday exhibitions will start at 5pm and go for 2 hours. Saturday exhibitions will start at 11 am and go for 3 hours. The race will start at 2pm. There will also be a $20 entry fee for the youth group. $50 entry fee each night with 80% payback. $5 exhibitions or 5 for $20 5D competition $1000 added money each night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rising Stars: Musical Theater - The Little Theatre of Alexandria
This camp will provide students with a wonderful treasure chest of the theatre world: performing onstage, singing for musical theatre, and introduction to the backstage support. Campers will learn stage performance through: theatre exercises, improvisation, scene readings, stage movement and auditioning. They will have voice lessons that will emphasize vocal technique, vocal placement and production, breathing, and interpreting songs. All of the above will be combined into a performance to be presented to family and friends on the last day of camp. INSTRUCTOR LINDA WELLS is a private vocal teacher/coach, working primarily with children and teens. She has appeared in many musical theatre productions locally and elsewhere including The Music Man, Sweeney Todd, The Sound of Music, 1776, The Most Happy Fella, Side by Side by Sondheim, Brigadoon, George M!, Fiorello!, Guys and Dolls, and Godspell. Linda is also a professional church soloist and pianist. Shining Stars - Musical Theatre (July 11) - The Little Theatre of Alexandria
This camp gives young performers a chance to experience being in a theatrical production, focusing on individual and group creativity while working collaboratively as a team. Students will play theatrically based games and work hard on learning and rehearsing for a show. This camp also allows students to experience the rehearsal process and is a great way to prepare them to be a part of a full length play or musical in school or in the community. The campers will participate in a musical through learning songs, dances, and scenes for them to perform as a whole by the end of the session. INSTRUCTOR MICHAEL PAGE has been teaching theater for 8 years and has been choreographing in local community theaters for the past 10 years. He recently received a BA in Theater and Dance from Christopher Newport University. He currently works as a Music and Movement Teacher at VHBC Preschool as well as teaches classes at LTA, Mount Vernon REC Center, and Browne Academy. He teaches private acting, dancing, and guitar lessons from his home. Puppet Palooza - Tuckahoe Elementary
Shadow, Rod, Hand, Finger, Bunraku, Sock, Marionette: there are so many types of puppets and now you can learn about them! Over the course of 1 week, campers will each build, manipulate and perform with their own puppets. Puppet Palooza is a unique blend of art, acting, mime, and ensemble: a one-of-a-kind experience for every level of experience.
