Kid Creations & Bay Area Pilates are teaming up for another 3-hour Movement & Art Camp. Kids will have FUN learning the benefits of pilates in a choreographed-for-kids pilates class for one hour and then will be escorted down the sidewalk to Kid Creations for two hours of arts and crafts. Snacks will be provided. Workshops can be attended separately. The cost is $45 for both. To come to Kid Creations alone from 1:00-3:00pm, the cost is $30. Materials Science - Ensworth High School
How does stuff break? To answer this question, students investigate how stuff is made and in doing so, will break stuff! Destructive and nondestructive tests will be conducted to investigate catastrophic failures such as bridge collapse, airplane structural failure, containers that leak, pipes that burst, and electrical failures. Advances in materials are at the core of significant technological advances, and we are in a materials revolution today! Students experience a hands-on introduction to materials science, engineering, and technology, joining researchers who push boundaries further than ever before, using biology, chemistry and physics to expand our technological frontiers. Minimum 10 students. PREREQUISITE: prerequisite Science Levels 1 and 2 CREDIT: Semester upper course credit in Science 615-383-0661

After-Camp care will be available from 4:00 to 5:00 in the afternoon after Aqua Camp ends. Participants will be treated to more activities, crafts and games until they are picked up.
