The Harding Team Skills Volleyball Camp for 3rd to 5th graders builds on the skills acquired during the June Individual Skills Camp (serving, passing, setting, attacking). Fast-paced team drills and games focused on enhancing court awareness, better understanding of game flow, anticipation, readiness, transitioning between offense and defense. Lower school girls continue developing ball control and playing the game correctly (three touches "pass-set-hit" vs. volleyball "tennis"). Daily team recognition. Camp ends with a tournament, which is always a blast. Join us for a fun week with friends, classmates and teammates, playing the game we love. Preparation for 3rd-5th grade fall volleyball league (October-December). Coaches include Carol Green, Harding Head Varsity Volleyball Coach, Stephen Rhein, Harding Assistant Varsity Volleyball Coach, Amanda Millikan, Harding JV/6th gr. Documentary Teen Camp - Houston, TX
Young film enthusiasts learn how to make documentaries in a safe and fun environment. Learn story development, camera operation, lighting, sound, interviewing, editing and work with a real orchestra to score your final film. Invite your friends and family to watch your final documentary on screen. The campers will work with the music students in the film scoring program during the AFA's 2016 Summer Music Conservatory at Pershing Middle School. They will be documenting the AFA students' progress and the finished piece will be screened on July 29th at the MATCH. Cost: $275 REGISTER AT www.swamp.org

Requirement: Children must be four years old at the start of class, able to separate from his/her parent, and be completely toilet trained. Start the week off with a Five Senses Adventure Hike. Students will learn to sharpen their observation skills while hiking Beaver Brooks trails. Meet some of our resident wildlife and learn interesting facts. Make your own detective kit, keep a nature journal, play games and learn wonderful new nature songs. Hands-on activities, artistic exploration, investigative hikes, games and songs designed to introduce natures beautiful gifts to young explorers. We offer a weekly drop-in option for the most flexibility, but you may also register for a 3 week session to save! DROP IN: $25 for caregiver + child; $15 for additional siblings or second caregiver.
