Youth Climate Action Camp w/ Our Children's Trust - Ashland, OR
Our Children's Trust, Rogue Climate, the Geos Institute, and Trail Treckers are coming together to host a one day training for youth and their parents on how to become effective advocates for a stable climate. Elementary through high school students from around the Rogue Valley are welcome! Suggested ages are 9-18. Bring a sack lunch, and we will provide snacks! Activities include: Singing, songwriting, sports, skits, stories, arts and crafts teaching the message of community and nonviolence. We Work Together, We Rock! The curriculum focuses on developing and expanding students artistic skills through a series of age appropriate, fun and engaging lessons. Drawing and painting projects emphasize line, gesture, perspective, light, shadow, contour and composition as experienced instructors demonstrate a variety of techniques. 510-839-5777
Waterfalls & Wading - July 24 - Camp Pisgah
Come explore the treasured rivers and waterfalls of western North Carolina! In this session, practice boating on our lake, slide down a natural rock cascade, spend the afternoon tubing along a lazy river, hike through DuPont State Park and explore the waterfalls where the Hunger Games movie was filmed. You and your group will still have plenty of time for campfires and smores as well. Due to the nature of this program, girls must be able to swim 25 yards and tread water non-stop for two minutes in order to participate. 336-274-8491
USF July Full Day-Outdoor Soccer Training Camp + Goalkeeper Training - USF Corbett Soccer Stadium
Our full day outdoor training program is from 9am-4pm daily, Monday-Thursday, and on Friday from 9am-Noon. This program is designed to improve a players technical proficiency in all aspects of the game (dribbling, passing, receiving, chipping, and shooting). Camp includes all you can eat buffet style lunch in USFs air-conditioned dining hall on campus Monday-Thursday. Campers can choose to watch a movie or swim in the early afternoon before our last camp session of the day. Goalkeepers will also train together with one of our goalkeeper coaches a portion of the day. 813-315-6485

Students will prepare a blend of contemporary, sacred, traditional, and popular songs as they gain experience with harmonization, sight-singing, and group performance! Strongly recommended for private voice students who would like to gain choral experience. Pre-requisite: 1 or more years of private voice lessons, co-enrollment in voice lessons, OR instructor approval by audition. Includes a spring showcase performance, exact date TBA. Exploring Nature Camp - Churchill Park
Outdoor exploration and basics of ecology are the focus of this week. Well explore the woods, prairie and wet areas. Campers will roll logs looking for slugs and centipedes and learn why dark, damp places are important. Theyll wade in the water to net tadpoles and frogs - discovering that muddy and polluted water are different. Well crawl through the tall grasses to get a bugs eye view of the world. This is a hands-on, mind-on, and mud-on camp! A detailed letter will be sent prior to camp. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please be sure to bring a water bottle, snack, and apply sunscreen.
