Join BYUs cheer coach Jocelyn Allan and the BYU Cheer Squad for the best cheer camp of the year! This camp is designed to prepare future BYU cheerleaders for their junior high, high school, all-star and college-level tryouts. The primary focus of this camp is on both co-ed and all-girl stunting. If you are already a cheerleader, this camp will improve your skills and prepare you to excel this year. This camp offers instruction from some of the states finest in stunting, tumbling, dancing, motion technique, jump technique and crowd leading. Train under the direction of BYUs great coaching staff-including former and current BYU cheerleaders! You will receive quality instruction in all aspects of cheerleading. Beginning June 5, 2015, Elite Stride will be holding a 6-week strength and conditioning training camp and also skilled position training camp. Age group 6-12. The ending date for this event is July 17. Our goal is to help your children get the most out of their summer vacation and provide them with an outlet to stay active as well as reinforce a sense of leadership and discipline. Not only will we get your kids in shape to perform their best, but we will motivate them to excel in their education and at home. This camp will be coached by Dwain Kanyiki, a Navy veteran, personal trainer, little league football coach, and Lone Star College football coach. Long Tail Knits will be hosting a summer camp for students looking to learn to knit or crochet. This will be held at the store June 13 through June 17 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. You will learn the basics in knit/crochet. Your choice. The cost of the camp will be $25.00 per day or $125.00 for the week. If you pay for the entire week ahead of time, you will receive a 10% discount. This does not include the cost of materials. We will be offering beginner patterns for those who are just starting out and for those who have some of the basics down, we will have intermediate beginner projects for learning other techniques and stitches. The Wallis is proud to partner with the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle and other local media partners to help mentor students to view productions with a critical eye and write reviews for selected Wallis performances throughout the season. Start to Finish Soccer Camp has a long-term mission for youth soccer players to find enjoyment and success in soccer, both at the same time. No matter what the age or experience level you may be, Start to Finish has something for you. This three-stage program is divided by age and/or ability to provide a challenging, yet fun environment to find soccer success. Start to Finish has a well-balanced curriculum that emphasizes individual technique, which is the building block of high-level soccer. Players receive technical repetition in highly active and enjoyable activities. Players also learn from an energetic, enthusiastic, and involved staff that have a passion to teach soccer to young developing players. The day at camp is set within the Catholic framework of a daily Mass and prayer service, but each year we welcome campers from all faiths. A two-week session at CSM has proven time and again to help build confidence and awareness that campers take home and to school. Spending two-weeks living, playing and praying with friends made on the basketball court or in the mess hall creates a bond that can last a lifetime. These friendships endure, even strengthen, during a winter at homes perhaps miles apart and are renewed year after year as campers grow together in their summer home, here among the nature and splendor of our 96 wooded acres. 231-546-3878
