Kid's Dance Camp | Ages 6 - 12 - Portland, OR
June 20 – July 1 | Mon – Fri Half Day: 9:00am – 12:00pm | Full Day: 9:00am – 4:00pm June 2016 will kick off our 8th annual Kid’s Dance Camp. Kid’s Camp at Polaris is designed for students ages 6-12 and offers a full or half day experience, Monday through Friday. Camp is a great way for kid’s to have fun while sampling all that Polaris Dance Theatre has to offer. A typical day at Kid’s Camp includes several dances classes of multiple disciplines including Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Aerial, Tap classes and more! Students also have the opportunity to express their own creativity through improv classes, games and a daily art project. End of camp performances will take place on both Fridays (6/24 & 6/31) at 11:30am and 3:30pm. Summer Camp 2015 - Antelope, OR
Horizon Youth is hosting our very first Summer Camp at Washington Family Ranch. This week long camp will be filled with all kinds of activities; basketball, volleyball, skateboarding, rock climbing, disc golf and hiking. If you’ve gone with us before to Winter Camp, you know just how great this camp is. How much more fun will it be to have access to more of what the camp has to offer in the summer months. Animation and Computer Programming - Orchard Hills School
Have you ever wondered how to speak "computer"? Do you like to draw your own cartoon or anime characters and create imaginative stories? This summer you will learn to communicate your imaginative ideas from your brain to a computers digital brain. Through use of Scratch.mit.edu you will learn how to make interactive cartoon characters, animate short stories, and design your very own computer game. No programming experience is necessary. Beginning and Advanced Sewing with Machines - The Evergreen School
Children can spend their week learning to sew or improving their sewing skills. A sewing machine will be provided for each student to use during class. Beginning students will start with a tote bag and pencil pouch. Advanced students will be able to choose what they would like to make from different patterns presented.
