This 3-day class will focus on the design process using AutoCAD Inventor 2016 to take a conceptual idea to the prototyping stage. The emphasis will be on the effective design of a competitive robot for the VEX 2016-2017 competition season. Students will learn how to model subsystems in 3-D and then verify parts of their design by constructing the design using the VEX EDR systems. My daughter and son thrived at this camp. They are both active children who would rather be outdoors than inside. They are also very social, which is why they loved the fact this camp draws campers from all over the world. Awakening Teen Camp seeks to equip teens ages 12–18 with Bible-based teaching to live a lifestyle of prayer, worship, and wholehearted love for Jesus. Teens are housed at our local Camp and Training Center, as well as our local YWAM base. Meals are provided through our camp kitchen, and transportation is provided by Awakening Teen Camp. Our group leaders excitedly work to equip teens to live lives of holiness while devoting their summers to pouring into the next generation and make lifelong memories. Days at Awakening Teen Camp are full of high-energy games and activities, bible classes, practical training, small group time, and powerful evening services. Experience the fun of laying down a basic rock groove or the joy and energy of a large ensemble of mallet instruments. In this fantastic new camp, students will get a chance to try a variety of percussion instrument while building basic playing skills that will help prepare them to play in their school band or orchestra. Any student can join this camp, even if you have no previous experience playing an instrument. After 5 fun-filled days packed with lots of playing time on a variety of instruments, students will have a chance to show off their new skills for family and friends at a recital at the end of camp. Payment Plan Terms: A $100 deposit per camper and a $10 payment plan processing fee must be paid in full at registration. Remaining camp balance must be paid in full by Monday, June 6, 2016 to attend camp. Contact Recreation & Parks Department for more information. On-line registration for camps is not available. Refund requests made prior to the start date of a program will be cheerfully given less a 5% refund fee.
