Learn how to knit or take your knitting skills to the next level with hours of instruction and practice in this hands-on camp. Beginning knitters will learn how to cast on, knit, purl and sew their creations together. More advanced knitters will practice reducing and adding stitches while learning about tension and gauge. Needles, yarn and patterns will be provided for each student. Blake teacher Lisa Small leads this course. 952-988-3463

Parents should give youth some space before they try and debrief with their children. A camper may need some time to transition back to home life and a different schedule. Going from an active schedule to home life can be jarring and emotional. It is wise to take a child out to eat the first night they are back and try something active like heading out for mini-golf or to a movie. Quality time helps parents reconnect with their children.

They will be learning about art history (in a fun way) and the fine art skills listed above to create some masterpieces! Cost $155 (all supplies included) Space is limited to 15 per class. Bill Waris Blue Jays Spring Basketball Camp - Saint Thomas More
The Bill Waris Blue Jays Basketball Club will be hosting a Spring Basketball Camp at Saint Thomas More Grade School on April 2nd and 3rd for grades 3rd through 8th grade. The camp will held for grades 3rd-5th on Saturday from 9am-11am and Sunday from 12pm-2pm. Grades 6th-8th grade will be held on Saturday from 11am-1pm and Sunday from 2pm-4pm. CJ and Nick Naudet 4 year Varsity Basketball Lettermen from Bishop OHara High School and Timothy Waris Jr. currently playing on the varsity basketball team from Rockhurst High School will be running the basketball camp and showing the young campers what they have learned over the years playing basketball at Bishop OHara and Rockhurst High School. The cost is only $45.00 dollars per camper. Discounts available for multiple children in your family. Please register athttps://campscui.active.com/orgs/BillWarisBluejaysBasketballClub.
