NOCCS 2 - North Oakland Community Charter School
In Go Girls! Camp, rising 1st-4th grade girls make and perform their very own plays that we believe will change the world. 2016 #BeAmazing! Girls journey across Earth, Water, Sky, and Space to make a difference and learn just how much we matter. Session 2: #AQUAGIRLS What can Go Girls! do in a major drought? Create a play that makes a splash! Like a school of fish, Go Girls! stick together and #swim towards #solutions. Latin and Greek Cognates - Morgan Park Academy
It is estimated that 60% of the terminology college students will face come from words formed from ancient Greek and Latin affixes and root words. Knowing how to break down a word which has been formed from Greek or Latin can help a student not only build a working vocabulary, but also help a student construct a basic meaning for a new or unfamiliar word. Students who learn this skill see their vocabularies grow and their anxiety lessen. As students who enter college are faced with not only increased amounts of reading, but also increased difficulty in those readings, having the skill to navigate these readings, assignments, and exams makes academic success much more easily attainable. Our summer class will investigate and analyze Greek and Latin cognates so that students may increase their vocabulary and learn how to decode an unfamiliar word, providing a vital foundation for testing, reading, and writing confronted in upper school and university academic life. 773-881-6700

Junior Week 1 - Middlesex Club
The Junior Camp is open to children who will be entering kindergarten and will be 5 by September 1st or entering 1st grade as of September. The Camp program includes recreational activities, organized games, arts and crafts, music, special events, and tennis and swim lessons. A large tent on the lawn will serve as the Camp headquarters. On rainy days, the Camp is held in the Clubhouse. A morning snack is provided. Camp is held every day -- rain or shine. The Camp hours will be 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM each day. (203) 554-3225

NE/IA Camp Woodmen - NE/IA Camp Woodmen
NE/IA Camp Woodmen is a week filled with swimming, outdoor laser tag, archery, climbing wall and zipline (campers ages 12-15) and fun for all! NEW for 2015 we have added a vertical playpen to the tower! Camp fees are $50/camper/session with a cap of $125/family/week. Campers will receive a camp T-shirt & water bottle with registration. Messy Monets - Old Trail School
Campers will explore their inner artists through a messy process of artistic expression! Campers will have fun as they do slip-and-slide painting, create splatter art, body prints and more creations that drip, goo and splatter! Each day will conclude with cleaning off under a sprinkler. Bathing suits and extra clothes are a must! If its not messy, its not fun!
