Spring Science Camp - 2016 - Pico Park
Let Your Imagination Soar! Spring Science Camp is a fun-packed, one week day camp led by top notch, enthusiastic Recreation Leaders where kids get to have ?Aha!? moments of creativity and discovery while building and playing with unique toys, astonishing gadgets, and fantastic gizmos -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please bring any recycled item for various planned science projects on the first day of Camp. Items can include - soda can, soda / water bottles, newspaper, milk cartons, etc. Field Trip - Griffith Observatory - Wednesday 3/30 Campers must bring a sack lunch daily, and are required to wear a camp t-shirt daily. Camp Cottontail is an outdoor program offered as your childs introduction to the day camp experience. Our qualified staff provides children with a great learning experience and a fantastically fun time! Camp Cottontail allows your child to explore arts and crafts, games, songs, special guests and more. Children MUST be toilet trained. Week 6 5 Half Days PM ASCS Summer All Sports Camp - All Saints Catholic School
For Boys and Girls grades K-6. We are very excited about our location for the Summer!! This camp offers a combination of traditional sports games like floor hockey, soccer, basketball, flag football, handball, wiffleball, physical education activities such as tag games, pinball, battleship, virtual space tag, north south, gold rush, capture the football, and various cooperative games. We ask that our full day campers bring a (peanut butter free) snack and lunch and water bottle, and our half day campers bring a peanut butter free snack and water bottle. Children are divided by age into small groups and will participate in developmentally appropriate activities for their groups. Generally the groups contain children of no more than a year apart and we do our best to maintain an 8:1 ratio of campers to coaches and sometimes even 6:1 for our youngest groups. 12:30-4:00PM Instructors: Mr Depaolo and Peak Performance Sports Camps Staff 203-943-9598

Bay Bounders (Week 10 PM) - Apex Animals - NESS
Animals within a food chain have some ultimate adaptations for hunting and survival. Learn about apex predators like orcas, sharks, giant squid, and osprey and find out some incredible strategies the prey of these predators utilize to avoid detection. Analyze the animals in the NESS touch tanks for interesting behaviors and dissect a shark. Includes: dissection, 1 boat trip, & snorkeling 860-535-9362

What better way for your child to engage in the vocabulary of a new language then through art projects! We provide a stimulating environment of jewelry & art projects using creative exploration to promote early language comprehension in your 2nd language learner. Our immersion class will expose children to new vocabulary through dynamic modes of self-expression & interacting in an authentic immersion environment. Our expert, bilingual staff is trained in fine art and in making learning a new language a fun and interactive adventure! María Coutinho of Dragonfly Designs, originally from Mexico City, has worked as a freelance photographer and designer after receiving a degree in Visual Arts from the Universidad de las Américas Puebla. She has assisted renowned Mexican photographers all around the world and spends her free time as a singer/songwriter.
