Go Kids Camp - Emerson - Emerson Elementary
This program is devoted to educating youth about the importance of healthy living. Participants learn about nutrition and physical fitness through informational speakers, recreational activities and field trips. Participants must attend the first and last week of the program. Parents of participants are required to attend 3 meetings to educate the family on the program and teaching healthy living at home. First parent meeting is June 1st from 6-7p at Banner Childrens Medical Center. Parents are required to attend the pre-camp meeting to sign health screening waivers and receive the camp calendar. No refunds are given for this program. A medical release form must be completed by a physician for each participant by the end of the first week of the program. Creative Drama Session 3 - Key Elementary School
Theme: Theatre Inventors Silly characters take to the stage! Through improvisation, special guest artist workshops, art projects, theatre games and rehearsals, campers will learn the basics of acting. Along the way they will discover new ways of collaborating with peers and the joy of performing. Past workshops have included stage make-up, choreography, singing, yoga, and swordplay! Family and friends are invited to attend a final sharing on Friday afternoon of each session. 703-271-0222

BIZZY GIRLS CAMP - Ben Robertson Community Center
Do you have dreams of owning your own business and start a product line! From fashion to home décor, Bizzy Girls will help you create a product, write a mini business plan, name your company, create a logo, ad campaign and video advertisement. Learn about cost, profit and branding. Upon registration, girls will receive a link to many product ideas so they can choose a product before camp starts. Each product will have a small list of supplies to bring to camp, all under $20. At the end of the camp we hold a pop up store where the girls get to sell their products and keep their profits! This is educational and fun! Supplies: Campers should bring a packed lunch with a beverage, snacks and plenty of water each day. Attire: Summer active wear and athletic shoes. KidSport Morning Week of 7/11 - 7/15 - Scarlett Middle School
KidSport Mornings Ages 4 -13[] Kids enjoy a variety of team sports, individual sports, team building games, fitness and other physical education activities and swimming lessons Director: Kerry Winkelseth, UM School of Kinesiology Campers bring snacks and water. Mornings, Monday-Friday. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Curbside Drop-off. Staff will collect your camper from your car at 8 AM and bring your camper to your car at 12 Noon. KidSport offers children the opportunity to learn and refine non-competitive sport-specific, team building and social skills. The activities are age appropriate and developed by experts in childrens physical education. KidSport is staffed by certified teachers as well as physical education and education majors focused on providing a first-rate experience for your kids!
